Due to the old DOS user interface of Kallisto it was impossible to run the test. Therefore the organisation decided to enter Kallisto to make the field even so nobody got a bye.

Rookie wins ICT13

After all rounds were played, the dust settled quietly back on the floor and the scores were counted. The final result was that Rookie (by Marcel van Kervinck) won the ICT13 tournament. It made a very nice exchange sacrifice for the attack on the The Baron's king, but had to fight for a draw in the end. As Dirty only managed to draw against The King it was just Rookie at the top of the list. Dirty became second and The Baron third. So Marcel van Kervinck received the "Theo van der Storm" cup for winning the ICT13.

Unfortunately, as the author of this article had to hand out the prizes he could not take photographs of the prize giving ceremony. Hopefully one of the other people who did make a photo will donate it for the website!

ICT Round 7

We are really running early today. Round 7 has started. With the top programs only half a point apart, it is not yet clear who will win the tournament.

ICT Round 6

Round 5 has passed without much notice. And round 6 has started a half an hour earlier. So if we end earlier, we can travel back home also some time earlier. At least that's the idea.

Rookie is leading at the moment with 4.5 out of 5.Dirty follows a half point behind with 4 and third is The Baron with 3.5. Only Spartacus is without points.
