Just 10 programs this tournament. The group of participants that are here have some questions about why there are so less people available. At least 4 people told me they could make it to Leiden this year because of different reasons. Or is it "Programmers keep your programs at home" because the top 3 of the world scare you? At least it did not scare some new programs like Tzunami and Pandix, or programs that are around some longer like Joker or Hermann.

Are you a chess programmer? Why not join our tournaments next year. Although no date set yet, there will be an ICT somewhere around May 2009 and the 29th Open Dutch around October 2009! Take your chance to meet other programmers (only three of the programs are here without their programmer or team member present!) and share information!

One surprise this round: Hermann wins from The King!
