Jonny wins 45th Programmer Tournament

After 7 rounds with 12 participants, Jonny was the strongest program and came on top with half a point more than the runners-up. Although Shredder and Deep Fritz shared the same amount, Buchholz appointed Shredder the second place and Deep Fritz 3rd. The best Dutch program was Rookie, which came in the overall ranking on the fourth place. The complete final ranking can be found on this website, click on PT45.

Also this time we requested the participating authors to submit a fingerprint of their program. Following this, during the tournament article 6 of the participation rules was applied with at least one participating program. This was done after extensive preparation by the CSVN and with full cooperation of the involved programmer(s). We are glad to report that no violation of the participation rules was found.
